Oscar Party "Mustache March"

Did you watch the OSCARS? Seriously the “Old Hollywood Glam” was RED HOT and STUNNING. Sandra and Kate were beyond glamorous and their dresses, hair, lipstick, {etc.etc.etc) were to die for! The Oscar party was nothing less than expected and we had so much FUN! Wayne beat me by one and got 16 of the awards correct and he couldn’t have been happier with the BEST PICTURE Winner “The Hurt Locker”, I thought for sure AVATAR had it… I guess an enormous budget doesn’t guarantee the award. Nothing better than a wife vs. husband scenario, it’s obvious who won.

I guess Wayne finds it painful to snow shoe with me {ha ha}, I would say the whole experience left me lacking the desire to go again anytime soon. At least the company was great and the views spectacular!

Calamity Jane’s you are the peanut butter to my burger… that doesn’t sound right

One of our stops last weekend in Oregon was Calamity Jane’s {Burger Parlor}, known for its famous variety of burgers that are not limited in any way. The burgers use to be named after notorious outlaws… but now reflect a more modern twist. I wish I hadn’t been so hungry and had the guts to try the two burgers listed below… but seriously? Does a peanut butter & Honey sandwich burger sound good to you? Somehow I think it might be amazing, however I’m definitely not convinced that hot fudge & marshmallow go well with a burger… I’m only saying. The food was fantastic, especially after 5+ miles of snowshoeing.
