Wayne took me to Blind Pilot on Saturday night, we LOVE this band! The concert was awesome and a great start for my birthday gifts. Seriously... these guys & lady used at least 6 different instruments, the trumpet is amazing.

zoo

Yesterday we took the day off and spent the day at the zoo. {we recruited a few kids and headed off} We had so much fun and baby Zuri was the CUTEST thing I have ever seen! Animals are amazing.

We had so much fun at the gorge - wakeboarding, cliff jumping, rope swinging, boat jumping, tube riding, eating {lots and lots of good eating} We LOVE our friends!

My new Ray Bans - I seriously love them, they are the perfect pair of sunglasses.

My new Car - I don't even know where to start on this, it is a car I have always wanted, I love the way it drives, it is cute yet functional. It makes me happy.

My new Book - I love the Hunger Games series, so intriguing and unpredictable. I can't wait to dive into the last book.

it's a miracle... i can see

I remember when I first got my contacts I woke up one morning, ran out of my room and yelled to my mom... it's a miracle I can see. Indeed it was a miracle I could see... but only because I had slept in my contacts. Now it really is a miracle, I can see and would recommend Lasik in a heart beat.

This guy had a birthday... and guess who we saw at dinner…Robbie Findley! - Awesome right? He was in South Africa 4 days ago playing in the WORLD CUP. The best part, no one in the place recognized him... or they weren't as obvious with their excitement to see him. I was kind of his personal paparazzi, Wayne might have been embarrassed, which I still don't understand he loves Robbie Findley more than me. We are glad to have him back for the Real game on Friday where Wayne can sport his new jersey! Thank you to the amazing friends who came and celebrated with us and Robbie Findley for completing the perfect birthday.

and then this.... too bad the second doesn't actually work. It is depressing, I know. I'm not taking calls until tomorrow. {haha, mostly cause I don't have a working cell phone}

seaside.oregon

We had an amazing time with friends and family up in seaside. The beaches were so beautiful, I brought my bathingsuit in hopes that it would be nice enough to wear. HA - don't I look like the idiot, still not sure why they even sell swimsuits there, you will NEVER get to wear one. However, I did see some guys and one girl out surfing {full body weatsuit, of course} so it couldn't have been that cold... right? ha ha, silly them.

Akumal {best snorkeling}

There was this sweet lagoon where you could go snorkeling... {pictured above} it was so AMAZING. We went snorkeling in the ocean first and saw coral, sting rays and sea turtles and the lagoon had beautiful fish. If only the two could have been combined. We had such a great time here, the cutest little town. Definitely worth checking out and we hope to be a destination in the future!

Isla Mujeres

Isla Mujeres was so much fun!! We drove around the whole island in a golf cart. We stopped at the cutest turtle farm, where you are not allowed to touch them {lame} and yet again more amazing beaches. { side note: we were cooking in the golf cart and decided to go for a swim} We ate at a quaint local place who by far had the BEST food of the whole trip.
